Just received the most wonderful,
warm thank you note from Jen and Rudy
who were married about a week ago on Coronado Beach.
They eloped to San Diego from from Las Vegas.
It's something we always call "a reverse commute"....
since Las Vegas seems to be the elopement capitol of the world.
So many couples run away from Las Vegas to elope
with us on the beach.
Of course, San Diego and Coronado Beaches
are waaaaaaay more beautiful, don't you agree?

I wanted to take a moment to thank you both for your time and patience during our ceremony last week. Not only was it a big day for Rudy and I, as our wedding day and 8 year anniversary, but it was also the 1 year anniversary of the diagnosis of my father's ALS. It was a very emotional and celebratory day for our entire families. Thank you for being a part of it and thank you for making it memorable for all of us. And, most importantly, thank you for making it easy - so we could truly concentrate on the real meaning of marriage: our joining of families and celebrating our love for each other. Take care, Jen.
