 Being married for 21 years is REALLY something
to celebrate these days! 

Detty and Jimmy did just that with us on Coronado Beach this week.  They traveled from Arizona with their children and a few friends to renew their vows with us.   A mini vacation with a grand celebration!    A ceremony with all the trimmings.  

They got to say all those sweet words to each other from their hearts...share their thoughts and sentiments that some times are lost in the day to day rush of living.

We created a beautiful family portrait... and a wonderful Christmas card photo to boot!

Over the last 25 years of performing and photographing weddings, Steve and I have celebrated with quite a few couples who rekindled their love affairs! 

Romance that blossoms and leads to another trip down the aisle.... friendship that catches fire!  The decision to give things another try... a second time a lot wiser and a lot more sure of the decision to spend the journey together. 

Congrats to all those couples we've reunited over the last twenty five years :)
